Capsicum RedSkin uses and health benefits:-
- Capsicum redskin plants have recently been shown to cause a reduction in cancer is that they interfere with the ability of some cells in a human body to produce a particular protein known as c-reactive protein. When c-reactive protein levels rise in the human body, it increases the likelihood of developing cancer. Scientists at one of these laboratories, in fact, found that it even promoted the growth of cancer cells if the levels were already too high.
- While scientists are still investigating exactly how C-reactive protein affects the development of cancer, one thing is clear: The plants that grow naturally in the wild around the Amazon Rainforest do not contain any of this chemical. They are not part of any clinical trials.
- What is not clear, however, is whether the plants that have been studied in laboratories have contained any of the chemicals that are found in the wild. Scientists know that the chemicals that are in some Capsicum plants, like the Capsicum arnica plant and the Capsicum frutescens plant, are carcinogenic, but they still need to conduct clinical trials in order to prove that the plants are safe for human consumption.
- Since these compounds may be present in the plant, some people worry that they might affect other parts of the body or even become absorbed through the skin when the plant is consumed. The Capsaicin found in the plant is thought to be the reason for this, but scientists don’t yet know the extent to which this compound can enter the bloodstream. Another concern is that the plant’s scent is so strong that it could be offensive to others. Some people might find that the plant smells too strong and that they are unwilling to consume it.
- While it is likely that the Redskin plant can cause an irritation of the skin, scientists have found no evidence that it is toxic. However, some people do report that they have a rash or some form of burning or itching after eating some of the plants. This problem tends to go away within a few days of stopping the consumption of the plant. However, it is important to note that there are many different varieties of the redskin plant available, and not all of them contain the same amount of these chemicals.
