ABOUT ANIGOZANTHOS BUSH FLARE
Anigozanthus Bush Flare is an upright growing and relatively tough kangaroo paw. Baring burnt orange and vermilion toned flowers for most of the year, they can be even more intensely coloured when planted in a sunny position. Bush Flare looks amazing when planted in stylish pots as features or massed planted to make a statement. Perfect in rockeries and native landscapes for that extra colorful interest. Bush Flare is also a great, long-lasting cut flower. Salt and mild frost tolerant as well as reasonably waterwise, this is the ideal addition to many situations. Applying a native slow-release fertilizer 2-3 times a year and removing spent flower spikes will keep Bush Flare looking it’s best.
‘Bush Flare’ is a tender, lump-forming, evergreen perennial with strap-shaped, dark green leaves and, from late spring into summer, upright, branching stems bearing hairy, hooded, bright orange-red flowers, bright green on the inside.
An upright, relatively tough kangaroo paw, Bush Flare puts on an exciting display of burnt orange and vermillion toned flowers for most of the year, with colours intensifying when placed in a sunny position.
