Uses & Benefits of BLUEBERRY PEACH SORBET
1. It’s a colorful plant all year long. This compact and highly colorful series of berry bushes bears the same delicious fruit, but can be grown easily in containers, and makes a gorgeous addition to any deck or patio.
2. Peach Sorbet is an exceptionally showy blueberry that looks good all year long. It starts peach, pink, and orange tones gracing the green leaves in spring, then is dotted with little white blooms. Of course this is followed by plump, delicious, and nutritious blueberries by midsummer. Then in fall the foliage takes on darker purple, plum, and magenta tones, which then persist well into winter.
3. At just 2 to 3 feet high and 2 feet wide, Peach Sorbet fits well in containers or in well-drained, sunny garden spots. It grows and bears dependably if planted in acidic soil, watered regularly, and fed in early spring and in mid-season. Prune it in mid spring to remove canes that aren’t setting leaves. With the right care it will set abundant flowers to feed your butterflies and abundant berries.
4. In most climates, the plant will not drop its leaves in winter. Leaves turn a rich eggplant purple in winter.Delicious, exceptionally nutritious, high in bioflavanoids. Consider climate suitability, ripening season and fruit size when selecting varieties and include at least two different varieties for cross–pollination and fruiting.
