• One of the most interesting and unusual types of Lily is the Cordyline Lily plant. It comes in a huge variety of colors and sizes so finding a plant that will match your decor is not at all difficult to do. The name itself is just a little different than most of the file names you may have heard.
• The Cordyline Lily plant is native to the tropical islands of Central America and South America. It was introduced to North America around 1950 and it was found to be beautiful by many gardeners who had never seen one. The Cordyline Lily plant is very beautiful and is not uncommon in the gardens of many people. One thing that is very noticeable about the Cordyline Lily plant is its tendency to grow very tall. It is about five to six inches tall and it has a very long stem that can reach over seven feet long.
• If you go to an indoor gardening center or nursery, you will find that there are many varieties of Cordyline Lily plants that can be found for sale. You will want to dig down around six to eight inches and keep digging until you reach the roots of the plant. You want to be sure that you do not damage the root system because you will need to replant the plant each year.
• Once you have excavated the root system you can remove the plant from the soil and replant it in a new pot. As the plant begins to grow back, you will want to replace the old plant so that the roots of the new one grow towards the main trunk of the existing plant.
