ABOUT OF STYLIDIUM DINOSAUR GRASS RAPTOR PINK
- Also known as Trigger Grass, Stylidium Dino grass Pinkasaurus (Stylidium graminifolium) is a stunning tufting Australian Native that features blue foliage and clusters of deep pink flowers held above the foliage.
- This low maintenance plant is drought tolerant and tolerates light frost once established. Stylidium will grow well in a coastal situation, and grows in a wide range of soils and climates.
- The common name comes from the unusual way these flowers disperse pollen; they have a cocked trigger that springs upwards when an insect visits the flower and dumps a load of pollen on the back of it’s head; the insect then deposits on other flowers as it goes about it’s business.
